Sandollar Alpacas & Leather has relocated its farm store to 9 W Kennewick Ave. in Historic Downtown Kennewick, WA. This location in the heart of Washington State's wine country is just a few short blocks from the Columbia River where the newest Urban Winery is nearing completion. We still have a limited number of items available at the Fuzzy Wuzzy, our Fiber Arts Studio at the farm.

Our on-site farm store opened on National Alpaca Farm Days (NAFD) weekend in 2006 and we have never looked back. This year is our 11th anniversary! Today the store is open Wednesday through Friday from 1pm - 4pm, and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm; or at other times by appointment, just call 833-SANDOLLAR or Collins' cell at 509-378-5833.

Alpaca Products - Visitors can browse a unique assortment of items created from Sandollar Alpaca's own locally grown and harvested, award winning herd sporting the most luxurious suri alpaca fleeces; as well as those products imported from some of the finest manufacturers in Peru.

In 2013 we introduced our custom designed and knit alpaca hats created by Nikki with yarns from our own herd. We also stock a wonderful supply of the softest alpaca roving, fine yarns and bump yarns (for rugs) year round for all of your treasured projects. Our 2016-17 harvest of new rovings and batts has arrived! We just received a great variety of hand woven shawls, scarves and hats from Ruth Fuqua Designs made with our own fiber as well.

Custom Leatherworks - In addition to these wonderful alpaca products, Collins Griffith is an extremely talented leather and fiber artisan. An assortment of his hand tooled leather accessories is always on display, and orders are taken for custom designed products. In 2007 he introduced leather items with an alpaca motif and he now plans to embellish our felted designs with leather accents. Today, you can find one of a kind, beautifully hand tooled leather holsters, sleeves for an insulated coffee mug (included); photo albums, director chairs, beverage coaster sets, and many more. Check out some of his products while you browse our website at! And if you can dream it, Collins can make it! Call us today at 509-378-5833 and let us design something unique for you!

With two other farms, Tres Aguas Alpacas (Benton City, WA), and Natural Maximum Alpacas (Prosser, WA), we partnered in the new needle "Feltloom". We have plans to make all types of custom felted products for our customers and will start small with purses, laptop bags, cell phone cases, etc. and move on into wearing apparel. And as the new year began, we took possession of our new automated felting roller takes the drudgery out of wet felting!

Be sure to come by when you are in the neighborhood and say hello!
